My joy of golf started while attending Reedley College. In a college tournament I shot a 77, and after one year improved my playing by ten strokes.
So far, my lowest round of golf is a 63 and I have 8-hole-in-ones.
My successes in tournaments started in 1977, when I won the Mexican American Golf Association Club Championship. Golf Magazine nominated me as one of the top 100 instructors in America. I Have given over sixty thousand golf lessons throughout the U.S. and in countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Canada and Spain.
This is my 5th year as the golf coach for Fresno High Boys and Girls golf team. Over the years I have been the coach at Tenaya Middle school, Bullard and Memorial high school.
